The kitties have been found locked in a neighbor's tool shed.  Thanks to all who helped look for them.

Please be aware that we have a serious roaming pit bull problem in our neighborhood.  The pack will be one or more of the following:

2 Brindle
1 Black
1 Brown

In the last two weeks about 10 cats and one small dog were killed.  If you have cats, please try to keep them inside.  If you walk your dog, please take a baseball bat or some other weapon along to protect your pet and yourself.  ABOVE ALL, DON'T LET YOUR CHILDREN PLAY OUTSIDE WITHOUT AN ADULT PRESENT.

The dogs usually roam at night, but have also been seen during the day, so don't let your guard down.  If you see the dogs please report it immediately:

During the day, please call Maricopa County Animal Control 602-506-7387

At night, call Phoenix Police Crime Stop 602-262-6151.

Thanks,

Mike

THE DOGS HAVE BEEN CAUGHT!

Hello,

The dogs were loose this morning and the police were called.  Maricopa County Animal Care and Control went to the home and the owners surrendered the dogs.

Three dogs were surrendered and I understand that they will be put down.

Thanks,
Mike

There is a tiny white or tan dog, probably a chihuahua, loose at night on Heatherbrae Dr. between 18th Ave. and 19th Ave. He was playing in traffic at 19th Ave. on 09/25/09 from 00:30-01:30. He was running up and down Heatherbrae on 09/26/09 at 00:45. He has no collar and is unapproachable. Perhaps he has escaped from somewhere nearby?
